Moolarben expansion paying off for Yancoal

YANCOAL’s early project investment in the Moolarben complex in New South Wales during the market downturn prepared the business to respond swiftly to the recent coal price recovery and further improved the profitability of the company’s flagship assets, according to chairman Xiyong Li.

He told the company's annual general meeting that its 2018 guidance for saleable production is 35 million tonnes to 37Mt and the forecast for 2018 capital expenditure is approximately $247 million.  ...
