Isaac Downs to use strip mining method

THE proposed mining methods for Stanmore Coal’s Isaac Downs coal project in Queensland are the same as its nearby Isaac Plains and Isaac Plains East mines, namely, a strip mining method with waste removed by a combination of cast blasting, dozing and dragline or truck and excavator.
