YANCOAL is working on a pre-feasibility study for the expansion of its Moolarben open cut and underground complex in New South Wales

Yancoal has the required approval to increase annual production from 21 million tonnes to 24Mt, with 16Mt expected from the open cut mine and 8Mt from underground.
