THE suspension of operations at Coronado Global Resources’ Curragh mine following the death of employee Clark Peadon in November has contributed to a 7.5% decline in saleable production at the mine in 2021.

Production declined at the Curragh mine in 2021.

The Resources Safety & Health Queensland Inspectorate subsequently issued directives requiring isolation of the accident site and temporary suspension of dragline operations at Curragh.
