Bengalla hampered by rain and COVID-related labour issues

NEW Hope’s April quarter coal production plunged 27.7% to 1.9 million tonnes as rain and staffing issues at its 80%-owned Bengalla open cut mine in New South Wales curtailed output.

New Hope estimates the Bengalla operation lost 20,354 hours.
