Exciting opportunity to join a growing West Australian gold producer on their executive management team and be a part of an exciting new mine development.
Pantoro is an Australian gold producer with its 100% owned Halls Creek Gold Project in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia and has recently announced a DFS supporting an initial 100,000oz per annum, 7 year mine life at the Norseman Gold Project.
Norseman Gold Project:
The Norseman Gold Project consists of a tenure of approximately 1,000 km2 covering nearly all of the historic Norseman Gold province which lies on the southern end of the productive Norseman - Wiluna Greenstone belt. The project has produced over 5.5 million ounces of gold historically, and currently has a Measured, Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resource of 4.2 million ounces.
The project hosts exceptional exploration potential though both green fields discoveries and extension of the current resource base. The project presents one of the few large camp scale gold projects not in the hands of a major.
Following completion of the Norseman DFS in late 2020, Pantoro is currently advancing development permits with a view to commence construction of a new 1Mtpa processing plant in 2021. Norseman will produce 100,000 ounces per annum over an initial 7 year mine life, which includes multiple open pit and underground mining centres. In addition to this, Pantoro is completing 100,000 metres of drilling in the next 12 months to systematically advance a number of near-term production targets and exploration project areas.
Halls Creek Project:
The Halls Creek Project was developed and has been operated by Pantoro for the last 6 years, and has produced 200,000 ounces of gold to date. The project includes 2 underground mines and a modern CIP processing facility utilising ore sorting. The company has consolidated the historic Grants Creek and Mary River goldfields and continues to actively explore these and the existing Nicolson's tenement package. In all, the company holds approximately 1000 km2 of prospective tenure in the Halls Creek Area.
