Your background includes substantial experience leading project studies from scoping through to DFS for large bulk commodity projects. You have a holistic understanding of owner side internal study processes, preferably within small cap businesses. You also have knowledge and experience working with tailings in previous roles.
As a leader you are people focused, collaborative and agile. You seek out and thrive in flat company structures. You enjoy variety and want to work in an environment where your technical knowledge is valued and encouraged.

As the Project Director you will drive the successful delivery of the Kasiya Project from study phase through to final investment decision and potentially beyond.
You will develop the technical arm of the business, ensuring all relevant workstreams are managed effectively. You will drive and execute the delivery of all current and future studies, engaging qualified study teams and leading from the front to ensure alignment and productive communication.
You will be a strong advocate of Sovereign's aim to develop an environmentally and socially sustainable operation. You will contribute to positive stakeholder and community relationships, as well as ensuring development compliance with ESG requirements.
