The Opportunity

To support our continued growth and success we are looking for a Regional Manager to head our South West division based out of our Mandurah office. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and responsible for executing the strategic and operational plan, with a strong focus on identifying further opportunities for local expansion and growth of the client base within the South West Region. Working as part of a dynamic, consulting environment, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with industry leaders and technical specialists. You will work across all project phases from studies through to detailed engineering and execution.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for operational performance and delivering required forecasting, budgeting, reporting and strategic business planning
  • A strong people focus, supporting our highly engaged culture, demonstrating our values, promoting diversity and inclusion and contributing to initiatives which support the attraction and retention of employees
  • Assessing, managing, and resolving problematic developments and situations.
  • Provide technical support to employees
  • Continuously monitoring budgets and ensuring that targets are met
  • Identify and pursue the development of new opportunities to drive revenue and profit growth

About You

  • 12+ years' relevant professional experience leading multidiscipline design engineering teams in delivery of project across all phases from studies through to detailed engineering and execution.
  • Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering - Essential
  • Recent, relevant experience on small to medium size brownfield and greenfield projects within the mining sector
  • Working knowledge of project management principles and practices with a strong commercial acumen will be highly regarded
  • Strong ability to build and maintain strong and trusting client relationships
  • A proven ability to lead and build an Engineering department
