Odin Metals is an ASX listed Copper and Base Metals exploration company (ASX:ODM) who is currently exploring its flagship district scale Koonenberry copper and base metals project located near Broken Hill, NSW. The project covers 2600km2 of land holding, ~150km strike of the significantly under-explored Koonenberry belt. The Company considers the Koonenberry Belt to be highly prospective for a number of styles of mineralisation including VMS hosted Cu-Zn-Au-Ag deposits.

The company is seeking an Exploration Manager to join their team on the Koonenberry Project. The successful candidate will be supported directly by the Chief Geologist and Executive Board Members to oversee exploration acticities across the whole district scale Koonenberry Copper Project.

This role is a newly created opportunity as the company is ramping up exploration activities and will be responsible for managing the company's exploration activities including ongoing refinement of the company's exploration strategy, growing the exploration team, managing existing contractors & consultants, stakeholder management including a substantial focus on land access, target generation, reporting & budgeting, and much more.

The ideal candidate will have experience as an Exploration Manager or Senior Geologist with a strong background in greenfields base/precious metals exploration.

Experience in NSW and VMS deposits will be highly regarded.

Skills and experience

  • ASX Competent Person in Copper and Base Metals Commodities
  • Competency in industry software, including GIS and 3D modelling software
  • Experience in statutory reporting, including ASX and Government, including familiarity around understanding JORC reporting requirements would be looked on favourably
  • +8 years experience, with at least 3-5 years in copper and base metals exploration
