Wet commissioning of the feed classification circuit has wound-up on schedule, allowing early kick off of the tantalum beneficiation circuit wet commissioning, while final stages of piping and electrical installation are continuing.

Additionally, Primero reported significant progress being achieved within the dense medium separation area, and that punch listing had begun a week ahead of schedule in the reflux classification area in preparation for water commissioning.

The final handover of the reflux classification area, from construction to commissioning, is scheduled for the next two weeks, in line with previously established milestones.

Final commissioning has also finished on the ore preparation area after automated sequence runs were conducted.

Other milestones checked off include commissioning the thickener and checking of the tails systems; the fines building piping being finished and flushed; and completion of sequence tests on the conveyor.

The filter belt construction is also on schedule, with all cabling to the filter belt pulled and terminations in progress.
