COAL mining entrepreneur and White Energy director Brian Flannery could make about $300 million profit on the sale of his half share of the Vales Point coal fired power station, which he picked up from the New South Wales government with Trevor St Baker for just $1 million in 2015.

Brian Flannery could make $300 million profit on the sale of Vales Point power station.

The state government, which was under pressure to reduce its ownership of coal-fired power, also agreed to the sale to get $130 million of liabilities attached to the power station off its books.
