Weir goes green

ENGINEERING consultant Weir Minerals will power its operations in New South Wales and Queensland with renewable energy under a power purchase agreement with utilities giant Engie.

 Weir Minerals manufacturing facility in Artarmon, NSW has the total footprint of 35,000sq.m (8.65 acres, 3.5 hectares), housing an elastomer shop, machine shop, pump assembly and the largest ferrous foundry in the Southern hemisphere.
