Under the scope of the latest contract Field Solutions will provide managed network and managed services to the value of $3 million and $2 million of additional information technology and procurement services.

Field Solutions operates out of the town of Emerald in central Queensland.

The contract with Ravenswood Gold follows the five-year contract it signed in June 2022 with Kestrel Coal, worth about $15 million.

Field Solutions chief executive officer Andrew Roberts said the latest deal represented the company's second enterprise-managed services win in the mining vertical in the past 12 months.

"Reinforcing our focus in delivering integrated IT managed services leveraging our 100% owned telecommunications infrastructure on the Regional Australia Network," he said.

Ravenswood Gold's network is scheduled to transition this month.

Ravenswood Gold senior IT co-ordinator Kelli Guldbransen said the offer of a comprehensive set of products and services allowed the selection of a single vendor for the mine's IT and managed services needs.
