Newcrest settles shareholder class action

NEWCREST Mining has agreed to pay $36 million to settle a shareholder class action started by Earglow Pty Ltd on July 21 2014 on behalf of shareholders who bought Newcrest securities between August 13 2012 and June 6 2013.
