Gold affected by March rains

GOLD production in Australia in 2023’s March quarter was down 8% on the December quarter to 72 tonnes, according to mining consultant Surbiton Associates, due to heavy cyclonic rain across Western Australia, Queensland, New South Wales and the Northern Territory in early 2023.
