No trust in Santa, union warns

THE Australian Workers Union claims gold miners at the St Ives, Agnew, Granny Smith and Gruyere gold mines in Western Australia are being told to “trust in Santa” for the next four years following a move by South Africa-domiciled miner Gold Fields to forego guaranteed yearly pay increases in a new four-year workers agreement.
