Another Chinese mine accident

A gas explosion is reported to have killed 9 in China’s Yunnan Province on November 14.

Ten miners were working at the privately-owned coal mine in Shilin, in the southwestern Yunnan Province when the accident occurred. One worker is still missing.

Local government departments are searching for the missing miner and investigating the cause of the blast.
