Coal train derails in southern WV

DETAILS are still emerging about a CSX coal train that derailed in Greenbrier County, West Virginia, on last Thursday.

According to local news station WVNS, the incident occurred in Clearco at about 6.30am and involved a loaded 75-car coal train.

No injuries have been reported.

CSX officials said that an overturned car in the derailment had come out of alignment by one inch.

An investigation has commenced to look at cause.
