New Qld water legislation to delay New Acland by 12 months

THE Queensland Environmental Protection (Underground Water Management) and Other Legislation Amendment Bill (EPOLA), which was passed in Parliament on Wednesday night, is likely to cause at least another 12-month approval delay for Stage 3 of New Hope’s New Acland mine, according to its managing director Shane Stephan.
