Austar coal burst calls for extra vigilance: report

YANCOAL will have to give careful consideration to the implications of the changed state of stress that will be associated with extracting future longwall panels at its Austar mine after a coal burst in August, according to an independent report of the incident supplied to Mine Safety NSW.
