Gas drainage emergency at NSW mine

TRIGGER action response plans at underground coal mines must be enacted immediately after alarms have been activated, New South Wales Mine Safety has warned, after a high potential incident during the night shift at a NSW mine resulted in the gas drainage plant failing to operate.
