Wollongong Coal fined $31K for water discharge

THE New South Wales Environment Protection Authority has issued two fines of $15,000 each to Wollongong Coal after turbid water was discharged from the Russell Vale coal mine to Bellambi Gully in November 2016 in contravention of its environment protection licence.
