Wambo to pay more than $130K for pollution incident

THE New South Wales Land and Environment Court has convicted and fined Peabody Energy’s Wambo Coal a total of $62,000 after a sediment dam failed at its coal mine near Warkworth in the Hunter Valley causing water pollution.
