HVO cops $30K fine for water discharge

HUNTER Valley Operations – which is a joint venture between Yancoal and Glencore - has been issued with $30,000 in penalties by the New South Wales Environment Protection Authority after the alleged discharge of mine water into Bayswater Creek from the Hunter Valley Operations coal mine, near Muswellbrook.
