NSW IPC wraps up Hume public hearings

THE NEW South Wales Independent Planning Commission has completed two days of public hearings in Moss Vale over the proposed Hume Coal project after the Department of Planning and Environment recommended against approving the project late last year.

The department had already received 12,666 submissions on the project before making its recommendation to the IPC to reject the project.
