Qld mining employment hiring intentions remain strong: survey

MORE than half the CEOs of Queensland mining companies surveyed by the Queensland Resources Council expect to increase their workforce.

QRC CEO Ian Macfarlane said the survey, which was taken before the advent of the COVID-19 virus, reflected the underlying confidence of the sector.
