Hazelwood fined $1.5M over Latrobe Valley fire

HAZELWOOD Power Corporation, which operated the Latrobe Valley coal-fired power station in Victoria, has been fined more than $1.5 million over a fire that spread to its coal mine and burnt for 45 days in February 2014.
