High Court set-back for New Acland stage 3 expansion

THE Oakey Coal Action Alliance has succeeded in its application to have special leave to take its case to the High Court against New Hope Group’s New Acland Coal mine stage 3 proposal.

 The decision means the Stage 3 application may be referred back to the Queensland Land Court for a rehearing.
