Serious leg injuries after link failure

A 56-year-old mine worker suffered serious lower leg injuries when he was hit by a bow shackle, after a RUD link failed during a towing operation at Centennial Coal’s Springvale colliery in New South Wales, a Resources Regulator investigation into the incident has found.
