Maintenance worker found to have high silica levels

DURING site-based sampling by New South Wales inspectors for respirable dust and silica – which was completed in addition to Coal Services Order 42 – a maintenance worker at a coal mine was found to have exceeded the occupational exposure limit for respirable silica.
