Fugitive gas from Qld coal mines could be carried by proposed pipeline

THE Queensland government is investigating a potential 500km gas pipeline to connect gas reserves in the Bowen Basin to the east coast domestic customers and overseas customers by capturing unutilised gas from underground coal mines.
