Tarrawonga cops $30,000 fine for water pollution violation

THE New South Wales Environment Protection Authority has fined Whitehaven Coal subsidiary Tarrawonga Coal $30,000 over alleged pollution of a local creek from uncontained sediment and soil from the mine.
