Corruption chief takes NSW govt to task over Ridgelands renewal

FORMER head of the New South Wales corruption watchdog, David Ipp QC, said the state government was causing “respect for the whole system to be lost and corruption to be encouraged” by approving an exploration lease renewal application by Ridgeland Resources in the Upper Hunter while it is was being investigated by the Resources Regulator.
