Gros has announced he will leave the mining equipment, technology and services industry growth centre early in November after guiding it through its formative years.
In his time at the helm of METS Ignited Gros oversaw the delivery of about $35 million of collaborative project funds, to support the commercialisation of innovation in the sector.
Gros will be leaving for greener pastures in November.
METS Ignited is looking for a new CEO, with an interim leader to be appointed while the search is underway.
