Land grab puts miners offside

AN AMBITIOUS plan to lock in 5 million hectares of land for new national and marine parks and reserves across Western Australia has been slammed by Association of Mining and Exploration Companies head Warren Pearce, who fears the plan will disadvantage existing tenement holders and tie up some very prospective areas of the state.
