THE City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder has taken aim at mining giant Rio Tinto for its PR campaign spruiking the enormous benefits its fly-in, fly-out program brings to regional towns and cities; with councillors passing a motion to fight the negative effects of the practice they claim is hampering the town’s growth.
