Macfarlane warns industrial kill bill unsafe

A PARLIAMENTARY committee looking at Queensland’s proposed industrial manslaughter legislation has heard concerns from Queensland Resources Council chief executive Ian Macfarlane that unless changes are made to the draft the proposed laws will decrease mining’s safety culture and could lead to unintended consequences.
