THE Land Court of Queensland has ruled Moreton Resources-subsidiary MRV Metals is not financially responsible for historical environmental damage at the Texas silver mine in southeast Queensland and should not have to pay financial assurance as a condition of its environmental authority at the Granite Belt project, which covers an area disturbed by the Texas mine.
