A CONSORTIUM led by the University of Queensland and the University of Western Australia has secured $29.5 million from the federal government to help communities whose mines have closed transition to a sustainable future.

The consortium will form the Cooperative Research Centre on Transformations in Mining Economies. CRC TiME will have hubs in Queensland and WA.
