RIO Tinto and federal environment minister Sussan Ley will be called before the Senate Environment References Committee over Rio Tinto’s destruction of two 46,000 year old rock shelters if the Australian Greens get their way.

The Greens want to haul Rio Tinto and Sussan Ley before the Senate Environment Reference Committee.

The Greens have also called for Rio Tinto Iron Ore chief executive Chris Salisbury to resign or be sacked over the Juukan Gorge blast that flattened the structures.
