THE New South Wales Resources Regulator has warned the state’s miners to not operate vehicles with underinflated tyres following a dangerous incident at a mineral sands mine where a fuel truck driver was knocked to the ground when a tyre blew out.

The truck had travelled 100m from the mine's workshop to refuel the mine's dredger and was unladen and stationary at the time of the blowout.
