Evacuation from Moranbah North after concerns over gas underground

ANGLO American was forced to evacuate workers from its Moranbah North flagship longwall mine in Queensland following a change in gas conditions underground at the mine on Saturday.

Conditions underground at Moranbah North are normalising in response to the measures being taken.
