FWC turns down WorkPac unfair dismissal appeal

WORKPAC Mining has failed in its attempt to file an appeal against a decision by Fair Work Commissioner Bernie Riordan on March 8 that found five former Workpac employees were unfairly dismissed.

Workpac appealed, contending that Riordan erred in determining that the dismissals were not cases of genuine redundancy.
