Kestrel employees reject EA offer

EMPLOYEES at the Kestrel Coal mine in Queensland have overwhelmingly voted against an offer by Kestrel Coal Resources for a proposed Enterprise Agreement and have not ruled out taking industrial action.

Workers’ concerns centred around attempts to leave crucial entitlements such as redundancy.
