Amnesty International sounds Papua gold warning

AMNESTY International has issued a warning over plans to exploit the 8.1 million ounces of gold held in the Wabu Block in the Intan Jaya regency in the Papua province’s central highlands.

Indigenous Papuans gathered near a church after gunfights in Sugapa district, Intan Jaya Regency.
