Wayward dump truck damages unloading station

A HAUL truck operator lost his bearings and ended up running into and damaging a dumping station at a Queensland open cut coal mine.

The Queensland Mines Inspectorate said no coal mine workers were injured in the incident.

"Implement and maintain training of all workers and supervisors so they remain competent in the traffic management system," it said.
