Anti-mining protesters to sue Vic Police

A GROUP of anti-mining protesters who were sprayed with capsicum foam by Victorian Police outside a mining conference in Melbourne in 2019 have launched a class action, claiming the use of the spray was unlawful and excessive as they were not causing an immediate threat to police officers or the public.
