Albanese to try and sell reluctant premiers a coal price cap

NATIONAL cabinet will meet on Wednesday to discuss the concept of a cap on coal and gas prices in a move that could potentially cost the government millions of dollars in compensation to the coal rich states of New South Wales and Queensland with a decision due before Christmas.
