Kara, Taurus fined $479K over quarry death

SOUTH Australia quarry operator Kara Resources and labour hire firm Taurus Recruitment have been fined a total of $479,000 in the SA Employment Tribunal for breaches of the Work Health and Safety Act (2012), following the death of a worker in April 2020 at a quarry about 100km northeast of Adelaide.
