Palmer's Waratah drops Galilee coal legal action

CLIVE Palmer's Waratah Coal has dropped its legal appeal against the Queensland Land Court's recommendation to refuse its proposed 40 million tonne per annum Galilee coal project.

 It now falls to Queensland resources minister Scott Stewart and the Queensland Environment and Science Department to decide whether to issue the mining lease.
